Stephen Mercer continues his account of the workshops he delivered in Fernlea Care Centre, Whalsay.

In session 4 we talked about Whalsay weddings and what makes them unique. Everyone had memories to share about these joyous and community driven events.

At the next session, we chatted about the previous 3 topics and filled in any gaps in our stories. We were also shown how to fold paper into a "true lover's knot" by Robbie.

In our final session together, we had great fun watching our first film about the 12 houses of Brough. We all agreed that it would be good to send the finished films to the heritage centre to be shown when it opens in summer.
