During term time, Film Crew meets weekly and introduces children and young people to the practical skills of filmmaking, led by successful filmmaker Barnum Smith.

What Does Film Crew Involve?

Over the course of the term, the participants will learn how to make a short film. As a group they will brainstorm fun ideas, draw storyboards, make props, film with professional cameras and edit their film in Mareel’s education suite.

The focus of Film Crew is on having fun, working together, being creative and exploring the exciting possibilities of filmmaking.
