The Stoals are a four piece rock outfit, playing melodic indie rock and bringing together a combination of different influences to make their music.

The Stoals | Premieres on Saturday 17 April at 7pm

The set will be premiered across our YouTube, Facebook and Instagram TV channels, and will be available to view online until Monday 31 May.

The band is made up of 3 full time members and one temporary (John Gair of Forgotten Sons is filling in on drums).

Scott Tomlinson (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) - Well known throughout the Shetland scene and a go-getter when it comes to gigs, Scott started in music by performing at various singer songwriter nights then playing in a covers band until "The Stoals" was formed. His clean lead vocals can hit soaring highs giving him a unique edge.

Tom Smith (Bass) - Working mans hands lend themselves well to the manly duty of thunderous bass playing, Tom embodies this with his huge sounding bass tone and incredible skill and technique on the instrument, capable of big riffs and intricate fills.

Callum Anderson (Lead Guitar) - Callum has been playing and writing music for years and lives for the thrill of perfectly executing original music in a live environment.

John Gair (Drums) - John has plenty of experience as a live drummer, after many successful years with Forgotten Sons he has mastered energetic live drums and plays with unrelenting passion.

Refresh Now will give us with so much material and also document all the work we've been doing over lockdown - a triumphant example of how, even when morale was rock bottom, we never gave in and kept pushing to improve.
