Watch the video about some of the work they've been doing for LOCUS in schools below, then download some free activity sheets and get drawing. If you don't have a printer at home, you can always draw on the PDF using a paint programme on your computer (or just freestyle on any paper you have lying around)!
In February, design collective Civic Soup worked with five schools across Shetland to design symbols and motifs that reflect life in Shetland. These will be incorporated into their final artwork as part of the LOCUS art trail in Lerwick later this year.
Now they're setting you the challenge of designing your own motifs and trail markers at home.
