Home Made - call for submissions!
The Home Made screening is always one of the most popular events of the festival, featuring short films made by Shetlanders of all ages and abilities.
All kinds of films are welcome, but they must be suitable for general viewing, as the Home Made event appeals to a family audience, and they must be under four minutes long. Film makers must be Shetlanders by birth or residency, and entries are also welcome from those living south who are engaged in higher education.
As they have done for the past three years, Shetland ForWirds will be offering a prize for the most effective use of Shetland dialect, so watch for details of this in the press soon.

**UPDATE** Calling all Home Made film makers ... We know that you have been trying to put your “four minutes-or-under” short films together in very restrictive conditions since March, and it’s only recently that you will have been able to get out and about with your cameras. Given that Screenplay will not be going ahead at the end of August, but that we still really want your films to be shown at the Shetland Unlocked Festival later this year, we have decided to extend the deadline for Home Made until Friday 4th September at 5.00pm.
We can’t wait to see what you produce this year - have fun filming!
