Karlin Anderson

Karlin has over 27 years experience designing and making jewellery. She worked for Wint & Kidd creating jewellery for clients including Kate Moss and Claudia Schiffer, before starting her own business in 2008. Karlin returned to Shetland in 2019, where she continues to design and make jewellery inspired by the stories of the people she creates pieces for, and by the rugged, beautiful landscape and rich, distinctive culture of Shetland.

Jonathon Bulter

Jonathon is a freelance filmmaker, who enjoys creating short films and advertisements, filming weddings, concerts and live events and making experimental films. He has worked with Promote Shetland to create online content aimed at promoting the islands in which he grew up.

Keiba Clubb

Keiba founded Keiba Film when she returned to Shetland after graduating and travelling. As well as creating films for many local businesses and organisations, Keiba lectures in film for the local college and teaches film to children in weekend and summer clubs.

Jane is a visual artist, who particularly enjoys collaborating with people of all ages and abilities on person-centred projects and work. Jane does not specialise in any particular art form, rather she simply enjoys playing with colours and materials, valuing the process of creating as much as the end result.

Stephenie Georgia

Stephenie is a theatre practitioner, writer and director. She is the founder of ALICE Theatre Project, a not-for-profit community interest company specialising in creative theatre classes for all ages. She also directs and performs with local community theatre group, Islesburgh Drama Group, and teaches communicating with confidence classes for Adult Learning.

Alice Ritch

Alice is a music therapist and parenting instructor based in Bigton. She has many years experience leading innovative and inclusive community arts projects which are people-centered and grounded in a practical, authentic style of delivery. She is also passionate about the therapeutic benefits of creative project work.

Helen Robertson

Trained in Community Education, Helen set up Speedcrafting through which she runs craft days for adults, themed events and celebration events, combing various craft techniques, but particularly textiles and jewellery. In additional to delivering workshops, Helen’s own jewellery is stocked in a number of galleries and shops, her knitting design have featured in specialist books and magazines, and her textile work features in museum collections.

Vivian is an artist who uses physical and digital space to make performance, painting and textile work. Her work instigates critical discourse into the structures of the art world from an island artist perspective. Exploring the textures, qualities and values of material and space, Ross-Smith’s work is as much about experiencing as it is about seeing.

Eamonn Watt

Eamonn Watt is a composer who uses digital audio workstation and highly detailed sample libraries to compose emotional compositions. Eamonn composes in different genres working as The Virtual Conductor for his grand-scale orchestral compositions; Lo-Fi Eamonn for his lo-fi hip-hop instrumentals; The One-Man Disco Band for his funk and disco performances; Oozles for his EDM projects and his virtual reality drummer name, and Tranquil Tonality for his electronic meditation music.

Peter Wood

Peter is a musician and composer who has written many well-known Scottish dance music tunes and currently performs with his own band “The Peter Wood Band”. Peter teaches in schools throughout the mainland and islands of Shetland passing on his knowledge to the youth of Shetland. Peter was nominated as musician of the year at the MG Trad awards 2020 and in 2021 for his weekly podcast Tartan Tunes Scottish Session.
