Entry requirements
1 Scottish Higher at grade C or above OR 1 A level at grade D or above OR NC Music. Prospective students without the standard entry requirements as listed above are encouraged to apply. You will be asked to attend an audition and interview to assess your musical ability. Instrumental or vocal ability equivalent to AB grade 4/5 is required

Want a career in popular or traditional music performance? This course is for you - it provides a strong grounding in core disciplines which allow you to develop and enhance your musical skills and understanding of the creative industries.

You will have opportunities to perform your music locally and further afield, and you can study full time or part time to suit your personal and professional circumstances.

HNC Music is a really fulfilling and enjoyable course, catering to students of all musical and creative interests. It gave me an excellent grounding in topics such as networking and the use of first-class multimedia facilities which I have found very valuable in my later career.
