Bonhoga is celebrating craft and its role in Shetland's culture and economy with a programme of three showcase exhibitions to run throughout the summer and feature some of Shetland's most popular and talented practitioners.

Date(s)
25 May - 14 Jul 2019
Venue
Bonhoga
Opening Hours
Mon - Fri: 10.30am - 5.00pm, Sat - Sun: 11.00am - 5.00pm

This showcase will feature work from local artist and designer Helen Robertson, textile designers Margaret Hamilton, Julia Downing and Rosalynn Fraser, ceramicist Bill Brown and artist and illustrator Gill Bridle. This exhibition will be a combination of new work, current ranges and one off larger pieces.

In addition, SADA will feature the makers on social media, providing further information on each artist and their practice.

As well as an opportunity to purchase from a large and diverse collection of high-quality contemporary applied art and craft, this is a unique opportunity for visitors to engage with craft at a closer level, and discover what it is that inspire our local designers and makers to create their amazing pieces.
