ShetlandMade is back for 2019! Bonhoga will celebrate craft and its role in Shetland's culture and economy with a programme of three showcase exhibitions to run throughout the summer and feature some of Shetland's most popular and talented practitioners.

The first showcase will feature work from jewellers Jayne Kelly and Coleen Thomson of Yala, textile designers Morwenna Garrick and Joan Fraser and ceramicist Sharon McGeady. This exhibition will be a combination of new work, current ranges and one off larger pieces. In addition, SADA will feature a maker a week on social media channels, providing further information on each artist and their practice.

As well as an opportunity to purchase from a large and diverse collection of high-quality contemporary applied art and craft, this is a unique opportunity for visitors to engage with craft at a closer level, and discover what it is that inspire our local designers and makers to create their amazing pieces.
