Our Youth Arts classes are just about to begin their new terms and the focus on these is to have fun, work together and gain new skills.

FILM CREW
Over the course of the term, the participants will learn how to make a short film. As a group they will brainstorm fun ideas, draw storyboards, make props, film with professional cameras and edit their film in Mareel’s education suite.

SOUNDLAB: MUSIC MAKERS
Bring your instrument and join our music sessions at Mareel to explore a variety of topics chosen by the group, including playing songs together, basics of live performance, recording and production.
12-19 years | Tuesdays | 5.30pm - 7.00pm | Mareel
SHETLAND YOUTH THEATRE
Our vibrant and exciting youth theatre company works on developing theatre knowledge and skills, leading up to a short informal production to be shared with an audience of family and friends.
