Artist Amy Gear and designer Nielanell recently had their first meeting with the nine young creatives participating in the Shetland leg of the V&A Dundee Design Relay.

Exploring a historic design and a contemporary problem, the participants will work with Niela and Amy on designing a brand new product, which will go on display in the new V&A Dundee building next year.

Watch this space to see how the project develops over a series high-intensity design led workshops throughout November.
