Shetland Arts is delighted to announce the signing of a unique partnership agreement with DF Concerts & Events to provide a broad range of programming support for Mareel which brings together the UK's most northerly music venue with one of the country’s largest and most respected promoters. Shetland Arts is also pleased to have secured an agreement with local promoter Davie Gardner’s company, Atlantic Edge Music Services, to programme 20 concerts in the venue each year.
DF Concerts & Events is one of Europe’s leading arts and concert promotion companies, bringing the best live music and events to audiences in Scotland. The company also owns the legendary King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow and organises one of the world’s most successful music festivals, T in the Park.

The agreement will also place Shetland in line for acts keen to start their UK/European tour in Scotland and who are looking for exclusive warm up dates in a quality purpose built venue in front of one of the world’s most appreciative musical audiences.
