It's here!  The programme for Screenplay 2015  has been released online, and it's a good'un!

Lindsay Duncan
Lindsay Duncan

Special guests this year include film and television actor Lindsay Duncan, and actor, writer and director Mark Gatiss. Mark is a familiar face on our television screens through his appearances as Mycroft Holmes on Sherlock (which he co-created with Steven Moffat), League of Gentlemen, Game of Thrones and, most recently, Wolf Hall. Lindsay Duncan has a massive portfolio of television, film and theatre work, and has been seen most recently on the big screen with Jim Broadbent in Le Weekend, and opposite Michael Keaton in the Oscar-winning Birdman.

In addition to Mark and Lindsay, British director Carol Morley (The Falling) will also be visiting, alongside Pulp band member Candida Doyle. Candida, who has her roots firmly fixed in Shetland, will be speaking after the screening of Pulp – A Film About Life, Love and Supermarkets.

Also present will be the festival’s co-curators Mark Kermode and Linda Ruth Williams, who will preside over the now semi legendary and anarchical Festival Film Quiz.  With a heady mix of fabulous family films, extraordinary documentaries, new films, Q&A’s, workshops and plenty of home-made film product, festival director Kathy Hubbard feels sure that there will be something there for everyone to enjoy.

By popular demand! The Screen Card allows full access to all Screenplay events.
