We were in Sandwick on Friday with the Art World workshop. We set up our project stations, PRINT, PAINTING, SCULPTURE and COLLAGE around the social area. SANDWICK interpreted words from WHALSAY (words that came from the research session at Bonhoga).

We have been to all the participating schools now for the first round of workshops. Sandwick finished off the last of the clay, and the canvas is full. The huge print is complete and we have a wall’s worth of vinyl collage. The next step begins over the next 10 days. We will take something someone has made and transform it into a different medium. All of these objects and images that have been made will be starting point for a new artwork.
