Following public discussions at Mareel in February, Shetland Arts is inviting members of the public to take part in a survey to gather thoughts and views from interested parties on what their hopes and ambitions are for the future development of Literature in Shetland.

The survey includes only one question: What are your priorities for the development of Literature in Shetland? Thirteen key points and phrases, highlighted as being important during the meetings, have been listed. Users are asked to select the five statements which they feel best describe their priorities for the development of Literature in Shetland. The survey should only take a few minutes of your time and can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/6LRMRFV

Graeme Howell, General Manager of Shetland Arts, said: “Having already been through this process with the Theatre and Visual Arts and Crafts community, we have found this processes to be an invaluable way of gathering information and feedback on how members of the public feel we should be focussing our attention.. Literature feeds into some many areas of the arts, so we encourage anyone with an interest, be they writers, readers, educators or anything else to take part and make their voice heard.
