IN RESPONSE TO THE HIGH DEMAND FOR TICKETS, SHETLAND ARTS ARE CURRENTLY IN DISCUSSION WITH OFF THE KERB PRODUCTIONS ABOUT MOVING THE GIG TO A DIFFERENT VENUE. WE WILL PUBLISH FURTHER INFORMATION AS SOON AS WE CAN CONFIRM IT.

Off The Kerb and Shetland Arts are delighted to announce that the Scottish stand-up comedian Kevin Bridges will be appearing at the Garrison Theatre on Thursday 21 October.

Despite having not set foot in a comedy club before his first open mic spot in 2004, Kevin's natural gift for comedy has ensured he has become a regular at major comedy clubs up and down the country including The Comedy Store, The Glee Club, and Jongleurs.

In 2006 he performed his debut solo show to critical acclaim at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and since then he has gone on to appear on The Comedy Store, The World Stands Up (for Paramount Comedy), Micheal McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, Live at the Apollo, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and You Have Been Watching, among others.

Tickets are £16 and will be on sale from Friday 4 June from Shetland Box Office, 01595 745 555.

See Kevin this weekend on BBC1s "Friday Night with Jonathan Ross".
