As part of the Finger Symbols exhibition at the Bonhoga Gallery artist Alison Macleod led 2 Jewellery workshops at Shetland Museum & Archives.

Rings Workshop: Binding memories encouraged participants to bring along small objects such as shells, pieces from an old family sewing box, old postcards or costume jewellery.  They used binding, sewing and riveting techniques to create large sculptural rings.

Laminating Workshop used laminating as a tool to transform flat paper elements such as bus tickets, photos, newsprint and food packaging into sculptural necklaces, bracelets, brooches and rings.
