The Creative Writing Course, usually held at Shetland Arts’ annual fiddle festival Fiddle Frenzy, will this year be taking place during Shetland Arts’ annual book festival Wordplay.
The Creative Writing Course will be tutored by TS Elliot Prize winner Jen Hadfield and former George Mackay Brown Fellow Pam Beasant. It will run from the evening of Monday 3rd September through to Friday 7th September.
The schedule will be as follows: Monday evening – introductions and warmup, Tuesday to Friday mornings – 3 hour creative writing workshops, Tuesday to Friday afternoons – one to one support from tutors.
The price to book onto the course is: £360. Free admission to Wordplay events, admission to the Festival Club and teas and coffees are all included in this price.
