Shetland Arts and Crafts Association are again collaborating with Shetland Arts, this time to host a Summer Craft Fair, taking place at Bonhoga from Friday 7 May to Sunday 5 September.

Following the success of the Christmas Craft Fair in 2020, Bonhoga will host four groups of makers over 18 weeks. The first group of makers includes Austin Taylor Photography, Lisa's Leatherworks, Linda Richardson, Peerie Oorick and Uphouse Crafts.

Austin Taylor Photography captures Shetland’s emotion, drama and colour in photographs of its Northern Lights, landscape, wildlife and people. Lisa’s Leatherworks creates bespoke, hand crafted leather goods including belts, wallets, purses, journals, gifts, knitting backs and pet/equestrian items. Linda Richardson creates limited edition etchings and linocuts, watercolours, acrylic on canvas paintings and cards, inspired by the Shetland landscape. Self-publisher, children’s author and needle felter, Peerie Oorick joins the line-up, using Shetland wool in their needle felted creations. Uphouse Crafts also joins this group of makers, creating handmade gifts, accessories and children’s clothing.

We’re excited to pair up with Shetland Arts again to celebrate makers across the 18 weeks, showing the breadth and depth of the work of our members.
