Studying with Shetland Arts

Shetland Arts offer a range of Creative Industries education courses delivered in partnership with Shetland College UHI, also listed to the right of this page. The courses are delivered by Creative Industry professionals in working music venues, cinemas, theatres and galleries. Facilities available locally to students to study, perform and exhibit include Mareel, Shetland’s cinema, music and creative industries centre, the Garrison Theatre and Bonhoga Gallery. Several courses are available to study online including Digital Music Production.

If you’re looking for funding for an arts project, we can help. We co-administer the Shetland Arts Fund and our team of specialist arts development officers are on hand to help you find and apply for funding including the Visual Art & Craft Awards.
