In spring 2011 Shetland Arts will open Mareel, a new £12.2m Music, Cinema and Creative Industries Centre on Lerwick’s waterfront. Shetland Arts is now seeking three highly skilled and experienced people to form the core of its senior management team to lead the organisation through this extraordinary time in an extraordinary place.
Head of Programming – You will have an overview of all Shetland Arts’ programming activity and in particular be responsible for the programming of Mareel and the Garrison Theatre – job profile and application details
Head of Operations – You will oversee all of Shetland Arts’ venue and event operations activity, delivering a professional, safe, customer focused service to Shetland Arts’ audiences and customers while generating income from all sales and hire activity – job profile and application details
Head of Finance and Administration – You will oversee all of our agency’s financial operations, assist in setting agency priorities, have strategic planning and operational responsibilities and supervise the administrative and governance functions of Shetland Arts – job profile and application details
- The salary for each post will be £31,041 inclusive of Islands Allowance.
- Interviews for all three posts start week commencing 4 October, 2010.
