Young Fiddler of the Year competition 2011 – this weekend

The Shetland Young Fiddler of the Year competition starts in the Garrison Theatre today (Frid 22nd April), featuring 92 entrants competing in a range of categories over the two day event. The adjudicators are Aly Bain, Gemma Donald and Bryan Gear.

Christmas card competition winners

The response to Shetland Arts’ competition to design a Christmas card was enormous, with over 330 entries from Unst to Fair Isle filling the organisation’s offices and making the judging process incredibly difficult.
