Shetland Arts presents this Continuous Professional Development Event in partnership with SIC Education and Creative Links.

The Creative Learning Network is an opportunity for artists, school and community based staff to come together for inspiration on new creative ideas for learning. The event is not open to the general public.

Jayne Wallace is a digital artist with a background in contemporary jewellery. The core of her work considers how jewellery can play a role within what we each consider emotionally meaningful, and how the expression of this can be enriched through the integration of digital technologies. This exhibition includes work made with two Shetland fishing families between 2009 and 2012 as part of the Portage: Crossing Points Project. You can find more information about Jayne and her work on her website www.digitaljewellery.com. Jayne holds the post of Reader within the School of Design at Northumbria University in Newcastle.

How to book: Noelle Henderson, Creative Links Officer, Shetland Islands Council 01595 744013 [email protected] or [email protected]
