Our “Arts in Care” project started with a series of film workshops at Annsbrae in Lerwick.
Participants worked together to make a short film over the course over six weeks.
Participants at these workshops came up with their own idea for a story. They decided whether they would like to act, operate the cameras, work with music or help with props.The result was a brilliant short film: “The Birthday Party”.
The project culminated in a community premiere of “The Birthday Party”, to which family and friends were invited. There was an Oscar ceremony too.
