Gwilym Gibbons to leave Shetland Arts after 8 years of service

Gwilym Gibbons, the Director of Shetland Arts, will leave his job this September having completed eight years with the organisation as its first Director. Gwilym has given notice now (2 months more than contracted) to aid a smooth transition.

Some good news. Nothing scary has happened in regard to the construction of Mareel in the past month. The new venue is packed full of builders rapidly moving Mareel towards completion. Acclaimed film Director Robin Hardy to introduce The Wicker Tree

Mary Smith retires at 18 years
