Shetland Community Orchestra – public meeting

Folk Festival gets underway

The 2011 Shetland Folk Festival ‘officially’ kicked off in style today with the opening concert at the Festival Club in Islesburgh. Basket-making drop-in session for bairns We had a happy morning at Bonhoga on Saturday 23rd April encouraging children to have a look at the current exhibition by Lois Walpole and then have a go at weaving for themselves. We are pleased to say that DITT Construction Ltd have confirmed to us that an alternative roofing contractor has been sourced and are now on site and progressing the external cladding of the building.
