GMan Dance Performance at the Museum & Archives

Gman at the Museum

To coincide with the Gunnister Man’s artefacts returning to Shetland Museum, 10 contemporary Shetland makers, a journalist, graphic designer and a retired policeman have been researching the Gunnister Man and his story. Makers working in textiles, wood and jewellery are exhibiting their new range at Shetland Museum October 2009-February 2010.

Orkney 10 Research Trip – update

Last days in Melbourne

Fantastic two days of study visits. Spent some time yesterday morning at a Bonsai tree nursery on the outskirts of Melbourne. Really interesting social firm – operating a well organised commercial wholesale operation that provides employment for a large group of people, with over half people with mental illness and/or learning disabilities.
